Looking down, she got up, and padded away. Her paws picked up in a smooth pattern. She stopped padding away when she heard something in the bushes. All of a sudden something darted out of the bush and Feather leaped up and landed on the rabbit, killing it was a powerful bite. She began eating the rabbit, the taste of blood piercing her tongue. She sighed softly, ripping the rabbit into morsels and swallowing each one quickly. She flicked her tail softly, glad to be alone once again. With a light sigh, she laid herself on the ground in the shade of a tree. She heard the trees swaying from side to side and she smiled, calmed and relaxed. Once she finished the rabbit, she kicked the bones into the bushes, and then sighed. Blood covered her unsheathed claws and blood covered her lips. She barred her fangs that were also red. She then closed her eyes for a moment and then sheathed her claws. She pounced up and sat down, licking her paws softly.

He let out a low irritated growl when she ran away, again. He stood up and took a few steps after her, then stopped. He paced back and forth for the longest time, debating. Then with another growl he pounced up and ran after her. "Why do you keep running from me?" he asked and he slid to a stop infront of her, frowing slightly. "Next time I wont chase after you, no matter how much I like you." he said frowning. He never did like chasing after things, and he wasn't about to change that about himself, just for her. He stood blocking her path, so she couldn't run again. |

She flicked her tail, her attitude taking over her until her heart dropped. "Sometimes, I have a reason and sometimes I don't." She said in a casual voice, like she didn't do anything wrong. The spunky warrior's eyes widened. "You like me?" She grinned, wanting to laugh when she figured out that he was blocking her path. She flicked her ears towards him, a smile brightening her face as she lightly stood up from being in the shade. She grinned at him softly, an amused glint in her eyes danced happily and her tail kept flicking from side to side. The leaves that fell off of her head stopped at her paws, she looked down at it and realized it was yarrow, an important leaf. She took the leaf and buried it, noting to bring it back to camp later. She waited for a reply from him.

He stuck his ears out to the side again in that childish, angelic way, and gave her a weak smile. "Don't act so surprised, princess." he said. He watched her bury the yarrow leaf, then looked back up at her. A wind blew a few more leaves to the ground and he shook his head when a few fell on his head. He sat down, and wrapped his tail around his legs. He drew a pattern in the ground with his claw, then crossed it out and stood up. He looked at her and gave her a charming smile. "You can't say you don't feel the same way, Feather." he said sweetly, stepping closer. His ears pricked forward. |

Feathertail stepped closer to him, her eyes shinning. "Surprisingly, you are right." She grinned softly, curling her tail behind her. She smiled sweetly, coming closer to him, until she stopped right in front of him, smiling sweetly and watching as the pattern he made flew away in the wind. Her gray pelt still shinning she grinned softly, blinking at him as if expecting him to disappear, like he was an illusion.

He smiled and and wrapped his tail around one of her legs and pulled her a little closer, a mischiviouse gleam in his eyes. "Thought so." he said sweetly. He looked down at her and smiled weakly. |

She grinned happily, being pulled closer with no question. Her eyes danced happily. She lolled her tongue happily towards him, feeling the warmth of his body. She smiled happily, grinning.

He smiled and, licked the top of her head loveingly. He put his head over her's and pulled her closer to him. His tail wrapped around her a little more and he sighed in contentment. |

She smiled, licking his cheek with affection. "Shouldn't you go back to camp - you are the deputy, Leafstar might be looking for you." She said softly, licking behind his ears and pressing her bodice against his softly.

He shrugged slightly and returned her kisses. "You're probably right." he said, but made no move to leave. The truth was he didn't know what might happen if he left her. He was afraid that they where trapped in a bubble, and as soo as one of them moved it would pop, and it would all go back to the way it was before. He didn't want that. Firefox sighed and held her closer. |

She sighed softly, thinking the same thing but taking a deep breath. "Firefox, I promise you we can be together in ThunderClan. I am nothing but a warrior, meaning I can have a mate. Don't worry - it won't be the same. We can be together." She said softly, brushing her tail against his nose and the wrapping it around her paws and smiling at him softly. She licked his shoulder softly, giving him a soft lick behind his ears again. She flicked her tail up in the air and she blinked her crystal eyes at him. She knew this was the truth.

She looked towards the ground softly, and flicked her tail. She began padding towards camp also, knowing that it was getting late and Leafstar might be worried. She returned his lick as she passed him, suddenly hearing the scurrying of a mouse. She immediately dropped into a hunter's crouch, approaching the mouse. She pounced up and tackled the mouse, killing it with a powerful bite. She grabbed it by its tail and brought it to camp, smiling softly.
