Tabby padded swiftly down a leaf path, her tail sweeping across the bushes she passed by. She picked up her orange paws gracefully as if she were dancing. Her green orbs stared straight ahead. She was prepared for danger, any danger of any sort. She blinked her eyes as she reached the dazzling pool that she loved so. She lowered her cranium into the pool and did her vigil, tasting the clear crystal waters that tasted beautiful almost as well as it looked. She drifted off into a sleep. She saw the woods and a large monster. The large monster had a cat on top. She realized it was the new WindClan leader. She heard something behind her, and she bounced around, looking at her mother Flameheart. She blinked gratefully at her mother, who smiled. "A forbidden is one that is seeked. Be alert because you could be weak." She said. Her voice seemed to echo. Suddenly, Leafstar was awake. She jumped up and began padding back towards ThunderClan camp slowly, still thinking about what her mother had said.

Ragestar padded slowly toward the moon pool. The leaves under his paws crunched softly as he crossed over him. His head was low to the ground. His mind was drifting toward what he should do about his clan. His eyes watched the ground as he padded along. His ears were flat against his head, but he still heard the crunching of a cat's paws on the leaves ahead of him. He lifted his head and pricked his ears. And there, padding slowly, was the Thunderclan leader. She looked so beautiful in the moonlight. Her orange tabby pelt. Her face so perfectly carved. Stop it! You know that it is forbidden to seek love in another clan! How could you even think something like that!? His inner voice shouted at him. He sighed. He knew that the voice was right, but Leafstar was just so beautiful, he couldn't help but think that. He padded up to her and said,Hello, Leafstar. How are you this fine evening?

Leafstar raised her head, looking up at Ragestar, feeling a little bit awkward that he was in her prophecy. She couldn't say anything about it though. She had to keep it to herself, it was the number one warrior code rule. She flicked her tail. "Hello, Ragestar." She said, trying to sound calm. The wind ruffled her soft pelt just a bit. Her clever green eyes looking over him sweetly. "I am quite fine, thank you, how are you?" She questioned softly, blinking gratefully at him. She circled her tail around her as she laid her rump on the ground. Her forelegs were postured in a polite position as she sat down, looking at him softly with her beautiful green eyes. She studied him, taking a deep breath. He was quite attractive, but her heart tugged her away from him. She was a leader and it was forbidden love in another clan. She flicked her ears, but since she wasn't a horse her ears didn't flick far.

Ragestar sat down as she did, bringing his tail around over his front paws. I'm pretty good. Thanks for asking. He said. He was polite with her, for she had been leader longer than he had. He was also respectful for that same reason. His icey gaze shifted up to the moon. It had just been full before his leader had died. It was now half full. He sighed as he thought about his old leader. He shook his head mentally. There's no need to think about him now. He told himself. But his heart tugged at his mentor. He hunts with Starclan now... But he had to ask, Falconstar, please, will you protect me and guide me through what I need to do as leader? Please? A star sparkled and Ragestar smiled. If it had been Falconstar, at least he had answered. |

She clinched her sparkling fangs together as she nearly drooled over him. "Why are you coming to the Moon Pool... if you don't mind me asking." She smiled sweetly. She observed the WindClan leader with a sweet and soft gaze, the one she had for Flametail before he died. She flicked her tail softly. She had no old leader to look up to. For her only leader was her father, who was still back at camp, resting in the elders den with one blind eye. She still knew he had a lot of life in him. You just had to look deep. She knew that she would make a good leader if she tried harder. She was a good cat, so she just had to try her best and she would become a decent leader, for now. She had to focus on the male that she was strangely attracted to. She forgot about the prophecy, she gazed into Ragestar's eyes, shifting from his gaze. She tapped his nose with her soft tail in a gentle gesture.

He looked down from the stars as she spoke. I'm here to find answers. Answers to all my questions about leadership. I had always dreamed about the day where I would become leader, but now that I am leader, I don't know what to do. He said softly, catching her gaze as she looked at him once more. He smiled gently at her as she flicked his nose with her tail. His heart was torn into two pieces as he stared at her. One half was keeping the loyalty to his clan, but the other half was drifting more and more toward the Thunderclan leader. He wanted her. He wanted her to be his. The warrior code forbids it though. He thought as he watched her. He struggled to keep himself from wrapping his tail around her and pulling her close to him. Why does she have to be in a different clan!? He asked himself, wanting her, but also wondering why he was so attracted to her. |

She-cat smiled sweetly. "Just follow your heart Ragestar." She cooed softly, her clover gaze drifting towards him. "You should just let your clan get used to your leadership, but don't act like you are nervous, they will think you are acting like a kittypet and will never take you seriously. Go up there, and act strong." She said teasingly, battling his ear this time with her tail and sweetly flicking her ears towards him. Quite strange.. I haven't felt this way since Flametail. she thought silently. She pulled away the thought. "If you have any questions, I'm always here for you." She said, her tail being wrapped around her paws neatly once again. She held back her love for him for she truly was attracted to him. She wanted to wrap herself around him. "But first, you have have answer mine." She said sweetly, taking a deep breath. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" she questioned.

The tom let her bat at his ear as he listened to what she had to say. Thank you, Leafstar. I promise that my clan will be in alliance with yours. Only if you will keep it, though. He said, his voice low. He listened to her again, and her question startled him. Why would she be asking me this? Maybe she found someone in her clan that she loves... He thought. He shrugged mentally and then looked into her clover eyes. I do believe in love at first sight for some cats. Not everyone could be lucky enough to get love at first sight. Most just think they are in love and then when they are mates, they realize that they really didn't love each other at the first sight, they really loved each other after that. After they were mates I mean. His voice was soft, but it was still above a whisper. He watched her with his icey blue gaze meeting her clover gaze every now and then. Such an odd question, but it makes sense. He thought. |

She blinked her green optics gratefully at him. "Thank you, the Alliance will mean a lot and I will be sure to follow it." She replied sweetly. She wrapped her tail around her soft ginger paws. He doesn't understand, does he? She asked herself softly in her mind. She smirked at him softly, her pearled fangs glistening in the light as she smiled at Ragestar. She loved it when their gaze met, it made her heart jump up every now and then. Leafstar sweetly accepted the breeze against her pelt, it refreshed her bodice. She flicked an audit to the side, making her feel weak. Please StarClan, oh please. Accept me even though I have fallen in love with another clan leader? She asked StarClan softly, taking a deep breath. She smiled softly towards Ragestar. She blinked at him softly once again. She acted a little flirty.

Her mood being a little flirty startled him. Does she think that she loves me? Is that why she asked if I believe in love at first sight? He thought, and then he said,Leafstar... I don't understand... you know that it is forbidden... so why are you doing it? His voice was a little flirty, but not much. His voice was more curious or concerned. He knew that it was forbidden, too, but he couldn't help but love her. He would be stripped of his leader position in no time if his clan found out. But he couldn't stay away from her. He looked to Starclan and said,Oh Falconstar, mother, and Sandstar, please forgive me, for I have failed you. I have fallen in love with a cat of another clan. A leader for that matter. And even though his voice was mental, he could still see his mother's face in the stars. A frown plastered upon her face, her eyes saddened, and her whole face in general sad. Sad that her son, who was now leader, had failed. |

"Unfortunately, dear Ragestar I can't hold myself back." She said, flattening her ears once or twice. She unfolded her tail from her paws, but she did it again, neater this time. She felt her heart drop softly as she thought he hadn't felt the same way she did for him. She sighed softly, looking at Ragestar. "I-I'm sorry." She said softly. She leaped up from sitting down and padded a few steps away from him as she began walking away. She flattened her ears against her head and curled her beautiful tail in the air, her heart feeling heavy. She was ashamed, and she admitted it. She dared not look up at the stars. She knew they were all glaring at her in their own way. Her green eyes were saddened as she slowly padded away from Ragestar. She was in love with the leader of a different clan, and she felt horrible about it, but she couldn't hold herself back.

He watched her start to walk away and shook his head. He ran up in front of her, turned around and stopped. You shouldn't be sorry. I was just asking why. I wanted to know what your answer would be because I feel the same way. He told her, looking into her sadened eyes. His icey gaze met her sad, clover gaze. He smiled and then continued,I love you, and I can't stop myself from loving you. Nothing ever could. But I know I can't be with you, for my clan would kick me out if they ever found out. His voice was sad. He couldn't be with her, and his heart longed for it. If only they were in the same clan. Only then could they be together. |

She rubbed her head against his, sitting next to him. "No one is here right now..." she whispered softly in his ear. She licked his cheek softly and smiling as the breeze felt soft and beautiful. She leaned against him and felt his soft fur pelt that made her shiver with anticipation. She sighed softly, wrapping her ginger tail around her paws softly once again as she listened for other sounds. All she heard was the scurrying of a mouse, but it was faint and the mouse sounded meatless. She sighed softly, flicking her tail in the air. She smiled weakly and faintly. She loved him, and couldn't hold herself away from him for so long. She held back her love for him, for he didn't show much of it back to her. She felt the shade of the tree above their heads and leaned next to him once again.

He smiled anmd wrapped his tail around her, pulling her close. He set his head on her neck and rubbed gently. He licked her ears gently, and smiled sweetly. He didn't dare look up at Starclan, for he knew that his mentor, mother, and old leader would be frowning down upon him. He looked around for any danger... or cats for that matter, but found none. He heard the faint movement of a mouse, but it was meatless, and would do no good. He looked at the moon which was starting to go down and said,"I think we should get going..." He didn't want to leave her, but it was best if they did and never saw each other again, only at gatherings. There was just too much work to do as leader... |

"Okay." She stated softly, showing no emotion in her voice. She flicked her ears softly, feeling his warmth. She licked behind his left ear. Her deputy was in charge at that moment and she knew he could count on him. But if that was what Ragestar wanted, then fine. They shall leave each other. She knew they could never even do speak to eachother like this at a gathering, so she enjoyed the moment of his warmth one last time, before pulling away and getting used to the Autumn breeze. She looked up and glared up at StarClan, knowing Ragestar couldn't see. She looked down towards the ground and began padding away, her pink pads on the bottom of her paws slapping the ground softly as she moved on. She moved her tail side to side as her green eyes stared down towards the ground softly.
